Just thought that I would share the news to all of you that around October 1, 2009 I will have my first novel published. It is based on Dark's character (came before this site) so if you are interested in getting to know the story behind him, take a gander at my book when it comes out if you want. The title so far is still the original "Dark".

Ps: hope this doesn't seem like advertising; just thought that I would share in case anyone had an interest.

I just have a few questions:

Who's publishing it?

Paperback or hardcover?

Where can I get a copy?

Can I have it autographed?

lol I am here and there. I keep getting sidetracked with everything...sorry! If I'm not here for awhile someone just hollar at me :-P

. But to Fiction and Dolornoir...1) it is being published by Wingrove Press - The Readers Bookcase 2) It will be in paperback (sorry Fiction I know you like hardcover lol) 3) I don't have that information yet, wish I did since I would LOVE to tell everyone where they can get it when it comes out, but as soon as I do I will inform everyone 4) Of course you can have it autographed

And Dolornoir, it is a young adult novel so it is shorter, it's I believe a little over 100 computer pages so I don't know how much that is in book pages and it still has to go through the publishing company editing to get the final draft, so once again, I'll keep you updated with that when I know too.

and I'll get back to you with everything when I can...seems to be taking awhile for the overall process yet October is awhile from now anyways I guess. I believe that they are setting up a website for me so when I have that I'll send you guys the link hopefully.

Alright...so here is an update...We finally agreed on a cover page and my edits are in. But my editor/contact of the publishing house is going on vacation so I have to wait for her to get back before I will receive and be able to do the finalizations of the book. But if I could find a way to attach the rough cover page I wpuld...just not sure how to do it so if anyone wants to see it help or ask? lol. It will be the same...just with a different font for the title. Once again...I'll keep you all updated on further things.

wouldn't you be prohibited from showing it to people though since it is going to be published and released soon "by Wingrove Press - The Readers Bookcase" ?

Alright...so I was searching around and I finally found where my little bio was posted which is here: http://wingrove-press.webs.com/authorsillustrators.htm and I'm pretty sure the Web Store tab will be where my novel will be able to be bought once it is released (as well as other places). Admin notified me that I can attached my rough cover (it will have different font for the title yet it will be the same picture)...but I have yet to figure out how. So when I do I will post it. That's all for the updates so far...thanks!

. And also...my edits are fully complete. Which means they are getting it ready to print as we speak and they said that it might be out sooner than expected...so I'll keep you updated with that!

Alright...so...the novel length is basically 158 pages...and the font for the title page is the old english...just she has it read as is the spine...so I'm going to try to ask for it to be dark blue...other than that...I'm just waiting for it to be printed and she said that she was thinking about releasing it earlier...so fun stuff!

Just to keep updated...the book is for sale also in Paris at the Green Heron, and it will be for sale in a few weeks at Brantford Wilfrid Lauriers book store. I'm not sure about the Simcoe Coles, but the Brantford one due to the christmas rush won't have it until Feb or March. I haven't had time to go to Chapters so it probably won't be there for awhile. In other news...anyone who knows what "The Paris Star" is, there will be an article about me/my book this week on wednesday...and also I am getting my school newspaper "The Sputnik" to review it...and then I have an interview again about the book where the guy will be sending an email to everyone in the school about the book. So...other than that I will keep you updated!
