''You cheated!'' One of the guards shouted.
''Cheated? Its Go Fish. How can you cheat?''
''I don't know, but you did. You always cheat.''
''You're just a sore looser.''
The comotion was enough to cause Fey to stirr a bit. She rolled onto her side, and though she didn't want to, she opened her eyes a little to stare at the wall.
After a moment she started to wonder why she was still alive. Then she thought of one good reason.
Questioning. About Arsen's where abouts.

OCC: OMG a 6th page!!!!

Justin peered through the small vents at eye level in each of the doors, glancing around every once in awhile to guage the guards interest. All they seemed to do was squabble.
He wasn't sure how he'd get her out, or even if he could; but having partially gotten her into this in the first place was reason enough to find out if she was okay. For a wolf she seemed very frail, but then again she didn't have her other form to accompany her like he did. His face twisted in consideration of this point. Hw had she not lost touch with herself without that solid touchstone beneath her thumb? Then again, he could feel differently about it than she did; he hadn't been born into it, rather cast in like a hunk of meat with piranhas. Maybe she hadn't liked being a wolf, maybe she sought solice in the more humanesque world of the vampires after her trauma.
He shrugged as he moved onto the next door. It wasn't his business, he was here just to make sure she didn't get herself killed. Once that was gone, he'd maybe get her out, if he could, but then maybe it was time he moved on. He'd heard Alaska was nice this time of year.

(XDXD I noticed that.)
Fey groaned and sat up slowly. She felt bruised but not hurt too badly. She rubbed her face a bit and yawned. Then she heard footsteps. She crawled to the frotn of the cage on her hands and knees and wrapped her hands around the bars. Justin.
"What are you doing here?" She muttered surprised, "I thought you were distracting whoever entered the room and letting Arsen and I get away..."
She whimpered and rubbed the back of her head, "And I still have a headache.... I'm tired too..."

Justin shrugged, not that Fey could see it. "The queen came in," he hissed as he tested the door hinges. "Why didn't you guys tell me it was her room? She said you'd been caught; I was doing fine at distracting, you people were doing a shitty job at getting away!" The door remained firm beneath his fingertips, even with his added strength; not that he was surprised, he had just hoped that maybe he'd have a chance at getting her out.
"By the way, I don't think we've been properly introduced. I am Justin Wolf." He bowed formally, thankful she couldn't see below his waist. "Hybrid of the most despicable kind." He began examining the door to see what type of locking mechanism it used. "You know anything about these cells? Is it computerized, or would there be a key?"

She winced, "Its a key. The gaurds usually keep it on them.... But I think they set it on a table somewhere...
"Arsen and I would've gotten away, but the guards were underground too. I was a distraction while he got away. I obviously can't do much fighting."
She was quiet for a moment, "You didn't have to come and get me out. You could've left...
"Why did you come?"

Justin shrugged once again as he scrounged a desktop further down the hall. "I got you into this, least I could do is try and get you out. Can't promise though; I won't make a promise I can't keep." Paperwork was all he found for the moment, that and some letter openers. He considered trying to jimmy the lock, but thought perhaps they were rigged against that sort of thing.
"Where might this propheised table with the key be?" He move onto another desk. "Have the mentioned if there'll be a shift change or anything? Do you know if there will be? You known anything bout this part of the compound?"

"I'm not sure. I heard it clink before I fell asleep.... I don't know much about the prison. I've never been here before. I could try to be like Cinderella and talk to the mice to try and figure something out," She gave a small laugh, "THough that might help... I don't know if there are any animals down here though....
"I think you may just have to keep an eye and ear open to listen for them..."

Justin rolled his eyes as he looked for where a key might clink. If she didn't know, she need only say so; sarcasm was not a requirement of this conversation. "What'll happen if I leave you here?" He didn't look up from the drawer he was perusing, merely whispered the question in her general direction. He was beginning to wonder if he should just give up and slink off -- wolf he may be, but he'd once been human, and in the human race the quality of self-preservation reigns supreme.
He found requisition forms, transfer papers... this place had enough paperwork to make it a small government. Across the desk was the half-finished paperwork for Fey; only a few lines remained blank, including her reason for impoundment, and her punishment. Her 'Release' yes or no box wasn't checked either.
In a small way he kind of wished the guards would come back and finish their work.

"I-I don't know what would happen... I know that most people who end up in here never come back out.... Depends on their case though.... I've heard their talking though, and I don't like it..." She ducked her head, almost like a wolf would to have their ears lay flat against their skull, "I don't know....
"And if you don't get me out, Clant might... If he knows I'm down here...."

Justin looked up from a menu for the resident chef. "Clant? Have I met Clant?" He didn't really expect an answer.. she wasn't to know if he had. Hell, he probably wasn't to know. "So, if I give up, you'll be okay?" He doubted it, but if she told him to go he would. He wasn't sure if he was looking for an out for his wn hide, or if he just didn't want to get wrapped up playing hero.. wrapped up in this place.. wrapped up in her.
He paused. Shook his head.
Where had that come from? He gave his whole body a shake, like a wolf climbing out of a cold river. Shaking the unwanted from his skin.

"I-I think so... I'm not sure. No one else has been inducted in here. No one today. I thought after what happened that everyone in the Hunter-Reo building would be in here, not to mention Shadow. Saiya may have stopped them from allowing that to happen... ' Fey shook her head in confusion, "But, I think I'll be fine if you leave. Don't worry about it. I'm used to it.
"No one has to care about the maids. Not even their owner. I'll be fine," She smiled a little, "Maybe Shadow would know and get me out. He is head of guard...."

Justin's nose twitched at her remark; it was untrue. Arsen cared for her. Even Shadow probably cared for her, it was the nature of wolves to protect their pack; this girl was part f an abstract pack like he was. They may not show their feelings, but they smelt of them. He shook his head. This girl had been influenced by the humanities -- and therefore the cruelties -- of the vampires surrounding her.
"How would I inform this Clant person? Or Shadow for that matter?" He wanted out of here. The stone was beginning to stifle him. As soon as he had an opportunity he would go into his marble floored abyss and leave this place.

Fey sighed, "I don't know..."
She got up and started to pace the lenght of her cell, thinking.
"If Jagger was awake then he would know. But the shadow-cuts don't heal in a short amount of time for humans and vampires. It takes months.... Shadow would get wind of me in here. And if Arsen went back to the building, Clant would know. But... Arsen wouldn't do that...." She ran a hand through her hair, "I can just stay here and hope for the best, really...."

Justin sighed and dragged his hands through his hair.
"Fine. I'll fix it." He jerked his head to the side, cracking his neck, then changed. The wolf bserved the room around him, gave his fur a shake.
OOC: This is gonna get violent, and it may have to do with the song I'm listening to.. Papercut - Linkin Park

Having rolled his shoulders, he began at a lope, heading down the aisle and directly into the anteroom. The guards barely knew he was there before he was on them. The first guard was missing his throat in seconds, the blood soaking into his uniform and settling in a wild spray across the cards laid out on the table. He wasn't going to win with that hand anyway.
The second guard had a chance to draw his breath before he was dragged to the floor. Justin forced his voice through the uncomfortable roughness of his wolfish ones.
"Key... where?" The words were tinged in a growl, his teethgently holding the vampires throat. He bit down lightly, encouraging an answer.

(XDXD Nice. I was listening to Come. An Inuyasha theme song. XD)
Fey took a step back as she heard the sounds.
"I-Its on the table," The guard, forced out. He was more surprised to see Justin than his commrade dead, "W-Where we were playing."
His hand moved slowly to his pocket, and it wasn't long before he was holding the blade against Justin's rib cage.
"Now let me up, and I'll give it to you. You'd probably swallow it the way you are now," The guard bargained.
Fey breathed in almost a snarl in her cell, listening, "He'll slam you in here to if you let him get up!"

Justin took a millisecond to measure his chances.
"Fuck.. you." He bit down and felt the blade enter his body. The pain only made him grip harder as the blood made the skin slippery. He tore as the knife twisted. The iron taste in his mouth melded with his own blood as he bit part of his tongue in the process. He had the information he needed, if it was true; but the vamp hadn't smelt like he was lying, although he had to admit that they were damn good at hiding it.

After a few moments, the vampire stopped moving, the grip on the blade loosening. Dead from blood loss. Strangely ironic.
Fey recoiled again, moving farther back into the cell. What she didn't hear, she could smell. The wolf in her may have been chained, but not it's senses.
She bit into her lip sharply before pacing the length of the cell once more, not out of irratation and impatience, but fear of what was going on.
And what would happen when wind of the got out.

Justin stood posed over the body a moment, fighting back a wave of dizziness. He shook his head slowly, before staggering off. He forced himself to change, unable to stifle a cry of pain as his fur receded and the naked flesh beneath, sliced and bleeding was revealed. His hand automatically hovered above it, not quite touching for fear of the pain it would cause.
The key was right where the vampire had said. Shakily he reached out for it, and although it took him an extra moment, he was able to grasp it. Slowly he made his way back to the cells. It took another few tries to get the key into the lock, two more to actually turn it. He grit his teeth as he pulled it open, the muscles in his side screaming at him.
"Come...on. Let's get out of here." He leaned against the door a moment, collecting himself. He knew he was loosing blood, but his healing would take care of it eventually, given the chance.

Fey gave a small gasp before standing next to him, "You need to get out of here more than I do. We'll have to get you cleaned up. They'll follow the scent of your blood otherwise....
"I think if you can keep shifiting forms, that would confuse them. The animals they have aren't used to a mixed breed like you. They're used to hunting pure bloods.
"Do you need any help...? That looks really bad...." She muttered, watching his blood spill.

He managed a lopsided grin. "Been worse before." He quickly shifted forms before her horror at his wounds could shift to embarrassment at his state of undress.
Th sudden change caused him to stumble before he was able to right himself. He still leaned against the door.
Lead the way, I'm just gonna be a little slow at the moment. It probably isn't as bad as it looks... I hope. He pictured the bill that had been waiting for him in his mailbox when he got back from Spain -- Pollynda hadn't been kidding when she said he'd have to pay her back. Of course he'd skipped town without even an I.O.U. A rumble of a laugh reverberated in his throat. He hopefully wouldn;t have a bill like that again; although he might go back and visit Colin for his shots.
The world tried to fade out and brought him back with a jerk. Someone he found himself slumped on the floor. With another groggy shake of his head he stood slowly and took a step forward.

Fey watched him with concern, keeping her fingers tangled in his fur as they walked.
"All the same, It looks pretty bad. We'll have to get in cleaned up eventually. The gaurds have probably calmed down now, so we can go back to the Hunter-Reo building... Shadow can take a look at that for you. The gaurds here aren't stupid. They do tip their weopans with something. All I know is that it smells really nasty," Her nose wrinkled a little, "Lets get out of here fast. I don't want to be here when the other guards come."

Justin forced his head up and down. If he was poisoned, his body might not be able to flush it out in time. All he could hope for was the blood to cleanse the wound. They were now in the hall outside the guard room -- they'd passed the bodies and he'd barely noticed. He kept having to jerk his body to attention, it wanted to sink into the floor. He found Feys fingers entwined in his fur a small measure of comfort -- too bad he was certainly too heavy for her to hold up by herself.
Why is it a pretty girl always seems to cause me bloodshed? Is it a sign I should turn and start swimming on the other side of the river? He grinned as his head dipped again. He kept his eyes focused ahead, following the small movements of Fey as she led him through the confusing corridors... he couldn't even keep the scents straight anymore, his own faded one blending with all the others beneath and above it -- he would certainly not be able to make it out of this maze on his own.

"There's a door we can leave from back here--Its the maid's door. No one will worry if they see you like this," Feyverent muttered, "Just hold on Justin. We'll have to make it back to the building. Its at the front gate, do you think you can last that long?"
The other maids glared at Feyverent and Justin as they past. They whispered amoungst themselves, mainly asking why a wolf was there. One even said something about a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Fey kept her head down, her hands curling even more in Justin's fur and pushed open the back door, leading him out.

Justin didn't even noticed the other maids as they walked by, he was too busy focusing on putting one foot in front of the other. He didn't even have the energy to answer any of Fey's questions -- if he even heard them properly. The wound itself was almost closed now, the seeping down to a minimum.
He heard the remnants of "sheep's clothing" and had just enough ride to snap his head round and snarl in the general direction of its origin.
Sleep. That was all he wanted at the moment. Just sleep, preferably in his lovely feather bed at home.
When they reached a door he stumbled out, pausing to take a few gulps of fresher air. He leaned against Fey for only a moment before continuing on.

Fey smiled a bit at him, "We wont be bothered now. I think everyone is still in the Main Hall."
She ran her fingers over him, like she was petting him, but urging him on at the same time.
"Lets hurry up. Its too quiet out here for me. I don't like it. Even for Crimson, this is low-key.
"How are you holding up?" She muttered, trying to keep him awake at the very least.

Justin stumbled forward another few feet. He was sure he was poisoned now, the world had an irregular haze cast over it. He felt so goddamn tired.
Fan-fuckin-tastic. That is how I'm holding up. This has been the-- He tottered a bit sideways, then righted himself. ... best time of my life. I met some new people, had a bit of a snack, He licked his chops, catching some bloody residue. Although I have to admit the vintage was a little old for my taste. I hope those guys weren't too important, important people always taste good. THey would ruin my theory. He nodded soundly and nearly collapsed before jerking himself upright once more.
You know Fey? He looked up at her, the effort excruciating. I like you, but honey, you need a few assertion classes. You are a wolf, and this is certainly not your environment. This is like keeping you in the New York zoo back before animal rights...
He continued on in this vein for a few moments, anything to keep his mind focused off sleeping. Like a head trauma victim he HAD TO STAY AWAKE. He wasn't sure how much farther they had to travel, but damnit he was going to get their n his own steam.

Fey blinked at him, "I've never been assertive. I haven't had a need to. I'd rather stay back in a crowd and watch what happens. I prefer to try and keep the peace if I can. I'm not like you, or any other wolf really. I keep my thoughts to myself and don't comment if I can avoid it."
She threaded her hands in his fur again, "I worry about others more than myself. Only because most people are always worrying about me. I'm more like a pup anyway. Most likely because the wolf in me never matured. I was brought here at a young age, remember? I don't mind being here either. I don't have to worry about where to stay or getting food." She gave a weak smile.
"C'mon, the building isn't far now."

Justin tried to nod his head and couldn't' instead he settled for a sigh as he dragged his feet forward. If he could just get out of harms way he could sleep...
The urge to gag suddenly hit him, and before he knew it he vomited on the packed dirt in front of him. Blood and bile intermingled as his eyes watered and his throat hacked. His shoulders lurched forward with every shudder and gag. He closed his eyes when he finished and took a deep breath before he gingerly swallowed. His head drooped, but he stepped forward, even though he wanted to fall down.
Just a little bit farther.

The thought of food made Justin heave again. He panted heavily, wishing for a moment he was human in order to sweat, knowing it would be the cold sweat one wakes up with when their stomach is in turmoil. He stopped moving for a moment, just to catch his breath, needing to feel the cold air around them, but at the same time shivering uncontrollably.
His eyes shuttered closed for a moment, but his mind was flooded with memories released by the hallucinogenic properties of the poison. He opened them fast before they could corrupt his thoughts.
Her eyes were the last thing he saw before his body gave way and he collapsed in a heap on the ground. His body just couldn't move anymore, he had begun to shake, and his empty stomach still was trying to purge what was no longer there. He took a moment, ignoring Fey or the danger they were in, in order to gather himself.
Then he got up.
