Yeah, I know most of the books I read tend to be more light and/or childish but forgive me if horror is not my favourite and I turn red when I read sections of books that walk the line into almost being pornography. This is a combined edition of " The Magic Bed-Knob" and " Bonfires and Broomsticks" by Mary Norton. One summer, three youngsters were sent to stay in a small village with an aunt. One night they see something fall out of the sky, upon investigating it, it turns out to be their neighbour has fallen off her broom. They help her home and strike a bargain not to tell the whole village she is a witch. and that is where the adventure is to begin. This is a quick read, but fun every minute, no slow spots.
