Walt Disney Studios Presents a Studio Ghibli Film Miyazaki's Spirited Away A fantasy about a young girl trapped in a world of spirits, after her parents are tranformed. It is up to the girl to rescue them and get back to the human world. Has won several awards, appeals to all ages. Tends to have an hypnotic affect on those who watch it.

i refuse to accept that Dinsey endorsed such a good movie. Who would of ever thought that a GOOD ANIME movie would ever be endorsed by them... Poor Chehero though, her parents deserved it and all but Ubaba had no right to do that. This movie is however topped by the Miyazaki film Princess Mononoke

Princess Mononoke was too long/boring for me. I think Spirited Away was much better. The mental growing that Shihiro did was astounding, and I somewhat wish her parents could have changed as well. Disney makes good choices in anime movies, they did a good thing joining up with Studio Ghibli. I also really like the fact that the voice of Tito from The Weekenders is in this movie

I love watching Spirited Away! The whole concept of the bath-house is well done, I would've never thought about using it in an anime. Oh, and just so you know, here are the names with the correct spelling.
Chihiro/Sen Yubaba
I thought Princess Mononoke was a good movie, though it was quite long (and rather violent!), and I lost track of what the goal of the MCs were. However, the animation kept my attention far longer than the plot did. Superb choice on Disney for partnering with Studio Ghibli.

spirited away is one of my favorite movies. I watch it whenever im sad or upset. i absolutely love the backgrounds/scenery/settings. they make me want to run away. i used to dream about living in a house on an island surrounded by a warm and shallow sea, the one chihiro and noface pass by while on the train to swamp bottom. i love the music they play when they are riding on the train. that is my favorite part of the whole movie, to see the train and the water matched with that slow sad song. i have the soundtrack, used to listen to it before bed almost every night. thats a wave of memories...
im sorry about that reminiscent tangent. im pretty sure ive seen princess mononoke, but i cant remember it. what was it about?
