Walt Disney Home Entertainment Presents a Studio Ghibli Film Howl's Moving Castle is based on the Novel of the same name by Diana Wynne Jones. Directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Starring the voice talents of Christian Bale (Batman Begins) and Billy Crystal (City Slackers). "Sophie, a quiet girl working in a hat shop, finds her life thrown into turmoil when she is literially swept off her feet by a handsome but mysterious wizard named Howl. The vain and vengeful Witch of the Waste, jealous of their friendship, puts a spell on Sophie. In a lifechanging adventure, Sophie climbs aboard Howl's magnificiant flying castle and enters a magical world on a quest to break the spell."quote from back of the case. This is really addictive movie for all ages. Rated PG-13 has humour for adults and children. You'll want to much over and over again.

It's an amazing movie - and Christian Bale plays the american version of Howl! Could this movie get any better? It's really a movie for everyone; and just because it's animated doesn't mean it's only for little children. The artwork and animation is spectacular, and quite a shame that this is Hayao Miyazaki's last film.

seriously? is he retiring? this movie was really good. the ending was kinda sappy but i loved it. no anime definitely isnt intended just for kids, actually a lot of it is originally intended for adults. but this is inoffensive in any case, very inviting and magical. I definitly reccomend it
