Here we can post some general vampire terms, including classifications.
i.e.
Afrit: an Arabian legend, of a vampiric spirit of a murdered man seeking vengence for his untimely death. The demon rises up like smoke from the blood of the victiam, and can be stopped by driving a nail in the blood on the ground.
Dhampir: the offspring of a vampire and human. Often possessing all the strengths of the vampire with minimal weaknesses.
Empusa: a Greek Vampiric spirit that has no shape and many guises. Sometimes seens as a beautiful waman that enters the body of it's victim and eats its flesh and drinks its blood.
Eretik: Russian, a heretic who becomes a vampire after death...sucking blood and eating flesh from their victiams...They were usually believed to be Witches, Wizards, Sorcerers, and the "old Believers" of religion.
Hematomania: a psychological fixation on blood from which an individual derives satisfaction of a kind of erotic blood list. Also called hematodipsia
Mullo: A Gypsy Vampire whos name means "living Dead". Restless spirits that rise from their graves and reek havoc on thoses that they didn't like in life.
Nosferatu:Romanian which means Undead
Psychic (Psy) vampire: A vampire that survives by absorbing psychic energy from its victims.
Sanguinarians: Blood drinking vampires. From the latin Sanguis - blood.
Strigoi: another Romanian term for Vampire applied to the returning dead.
Upior: Polish term for Vampire.
Vampir: Hungarian term for Vampire.
